Yea I remember hawg. Another guy offered me a 6060 and like I told him, im more looking for a stocker so I can maximize my profits while going back to stock. So I don't wanna low ball anyone on a trade by offering the same price that I would offer for a stock 5r,unless that person was ok with it lol.

I have a 3650 with 8000 miles on it with clutch stock and a one piece drive shaft.also can you send me more info on the tranny.hp rating,is it electronic o/d,any leaks etc.

i call this, completley stock 5r55 with 35,000 outta it, mint took it out with motor to rebuild motor to 302 and now deciding needs better tranny....will include all harnesses...pm me!

You might as well just go ahead and post how much you are willing to take off for the stock parts trade to save yourself a little aggravation of replying to PMs. I mean you have had it on here for 3 months now, and if at minimum the posts in the thread correlate with actual offers that have been sent via PM, you've had at least 4 offers of people with parts wanting to work something out and it's still all for sale. So it's kinda obvious at this point that either a deal isn't going to be worked out, or you just are not willing to come off of the price enough with the parts offered to make a deal.

I think its a reasonable price and I feel Im offering a reasonable discount for an OEM trans. Roman said he would take it after the new year but hasnt contacted me. LTHL hasnt written me back and GT kid found a cheaper one. I mean, cmon. I can get a 5r55 here with 30k miles for 600 or less. I have the driveshaft, shifter and torque conveter. I would just need the rest of the stuff so Im not gonna give some one like $1500 discount. Most people are just looking for a ridiculous 90% off deal which they wont get here. Im not hurting for money so the trans can sit and collect dust till I find the right buyer. If someone goes to build a new 4r70, theyre going to realize its expensive as hell

Well everything is cheaper if you build it yourself. But people don't know how. Hence why shops can charge 4 to 5000 for a short block. Even less people know how to build an automatic transmission

Hell, if it lurks around much longer I am going to end up buying the damn thing. I almost bought that stock 5R that was on here just to throw in to a trade deal
