Okay so this is a bit extreme but I think one of the guys I ran with this weekend was a member of this forum...so.. If you're the guy ('06, custom roll bar, tow hooks, #151, Corbeau FX1s, etc) PM me or something. Got a question for ya.

To anyone else looking, you'll not go away empty handed. Unfortunately the BW photo-dude guy no-showed so there wasn't much in the way of photography..but to at least give you an idea of what was up until I can get a video up...

Even better...most folks were scared off by the weather. So the brave were rewarded with like...10 track sessions a day lol. I soaked up about 450 minutes of wet track time.

I don't post on this forum much, but that was me! That was a great day, even though I'm still hosing the mud out of the wheelwells... My buddy in the E30 BMW is now completely hooked (it was only his 2nd track day). Rainy track days are every bit as much fun as dry days! It was nice for us former East-coasters to get a rainy track day experience.

I'll try and get some video of "The Cayman Wars" online soon.

LOL Poor Cayman...I think he tried taking out his vengeance on me in the final session. You should have stuck around, bro, I hit a 2:53.

Anyway, I"ll go ahead and PM you. Need info on your tow-hook setup... Good meeting you, bro.

Yeah, one of us was going to end up farming that session. Just glad it ended up being him and not me. :) Nice lap time. After getting 8 progressively faster sessions in with no damage, I figured it was time to get out of there while the car was intact.

Probably not--that track just doesn't appeal to me. Next event for me will most likely be Buttonwillow again next month.
