kinda sorta sounds really fat too.. Its kinda 'blubbing' a bit no?

Why you gotta bring up the fat jokes? Damn....lol

You can smell a little more fuel behind the car with the cammed idle if thats what you are asking.

I think it's pretty neat. If the car didn't have the balls to back it up I could understand calling it poser, but these cars have more than the balls to back it up.

With TiVCT there's absolutely no reason or having a long duration, tight lobe center grind because you can just electronically adjust it to nearly whatever profile you need. There are those of us that still really like the sound of a "racy" cam grid, but recognize it as completely unnecessary to make power with these engines.

I think it sounds good man. Do what you want with your own car. Doesn't matter what someone else thinks.

Plus, great job on going with Jon for the tune. Great guy, and a really great tuner.

For those fortunate enough to be at Bradenton last Saturday, you may have heard it in person in front of Evolutions booth.

I like the sound of this one too.

I just have to talk Torq into making me a tune for it haha

FYI, Its the same tune file i have. Just different exhaust....

Also, From what i know, no one else has the additional support tables as Evolution / Jon so at this time no one else is able to produce this cam idle otherwise they would have posted videos up. I also talked with someone that tried to have TORQ do it for them and it wasnt anywhere near what mine sounds like.

I could be wrong, so in the meantime, enjoy the vids until another company finds a way to do it and post a video up.

The good thing about Evolution is , is well, they have pretty much unlimited amounts of differant combos at there shop between customers locally and shop cars that they probably dont even need any more cars. besides, its just an idle tune, so octane ratings would be moot and just incorporating this idle tune into a 91 tune would be fine i would think.

A tune will void your warranty just like an exhaust system would. Research magnusson-moss warranty act. law that protects the consumer. Basically they can only "deny" warranty work on parts they can prove directly resulted in an issue. So if you install your exhaust ans they can prove you blew your motor from the loss of back pressure they could equally deny your warranty. Basically, Either leave the car 100% stock until out of warranty if you are that worried, or mod away. your choice. just because you install something on the car does not automatically void a warranty.

That car sounds baddass!! I heard a car just like it, might have even been the same one, at NMRA Bradenton last weekend in EVO's booth.
