The new Car & Driver has a shot out that pits the smaller, less powerful Mustang against the Challenger R/T, and the Camaro SS. The Mustang comes out on top, and is praised by the editors of C&D. Every Mustang owner should read this article, it will really make you feel proud to own a Mustang.

eh, I wouldn't say the camaro being cut was due to it not as good as the mustang. I think the mustang has a place in people's hearts more so than the Camaro, I'd say that has more to do with it than anything. (think, secretary who wants a base model (or vert) mustang, don't know any of that demographic that wants a camaro!) People buy V6 mustangs like crazy, I bet that's what keeps the mustang going, not the performance of the GT (or performance of the V6, for that matter) I've already seen a ton of 2010 V6 mustangs on the road, but no GTs!

i the the performance side of this has little to do with the sales of car except for a small % of people. if you think about branding ford just has a better brad imho. if i were to ask you who started GMC you would be like wtf i don't care but if i was to ask you who started ford almost any one would know henery ford. ford to me seems more personal to the owner of the car and you kind of know the pedgree of your car through the modle t all the way to the ford gt and can see how the ford brand and company have evolved. but hell thats just my .01& i spend the other .01$ on my s197

38k?!?! Is way too much for a gt. You can drive away in a 08 GT500 price.

I feel the mustang goes about its business in a classier, better balanced way, and that C&D issue shows that.


I have to admit that the charger is a great looking car.

The Camaro looks overdone in my opinion.

Total opposite here, plenty of 2010 GTs. I've seen no less than 5 on the road. No V6 cars though.
