Went to the track last sunday it was about 75 degrees and the car was running consistant 8.14-8.17's. I think once I get some slicks and my torque converter I will be there and will be a happy camper. Got a best 60" down to 1.902 and that is on street tires. have learned to "roll into the throttle instead of stabbing. When i stab it I get about a half second hesitation. when i roll into it (automatic) I get instant response. anyone know why that is.

Not sure what you're asking... Got a little confused.
By stab it, you mean stab it with a stick?? :poke:

I don't have an auto, but mine used to do that also. It can be fixed in your tune.

You know I thought you were talking about 1/4 mile times until I read you were on street tires haha. Was kind of thinking, woah.
