car runs like crap

this only happens when i start the car and only let it run for a min. or so then when i go to drive it the next time it runs like complete crap the A/f is 16+ i have to give it alot of gas to clear it out then it is fine. any ideas?? my 05 mustang gt vortech 500rwhp

Sounds like crud in the intake from the PCV. The crud blowing up from your crankcase into the driver's side of the intake (just after the throttle body) is worst when you start the car and turn it off shortly thereafter. Many of our cars will then blow blue smoke out the tailpipes momentarily upon restarting the car. Forced induction aggrevates this. I fixed this on my car by installing an oil catch can (with PCV valve inline) between the driver's side valve cover and the intake manifold.

and yes it does leave blue smoke
