carbon fiber wrapped dash on my 11'

i got bored at work today and decided the car needed a change... it had the standard brushed aluminum dash... im sure i will get mixed reviews but i like how it turned out.

I like it a lot. I have a roll of it I'm planning to use on some interior pieces as well.

all the chrome bezels snap out and i just unhooked the battery and took out the airbag.. the outside cover just pops off. Makes the job ALOT easier. took my time and took me about an hour... Since i do window tinting i used the heat gun to get the vinyl warm enough to stretch it around the corners and to help anchor it down. the hardest part is keeping the grain of the vinyl all the same.

Looks pretty good! how long did it take you to do the dash? I tried doing it a year ago and failed. Couldn't get around the gauges. It might be the type of carbon fiber vinyl I was using, it has a shiny foil back and every time I tried to use a heat gun it would just shrink and crumple.

I like it, I want to do it in my daily Subie.. mainly to cover some wear spots
