I have a 06 ProCharged Rousch Mustang and attached pictures of my catch can setup.

I've been having some oil consumption issues and wanted to be sure this isn't a result of how I've got these cans connected. The passenger side can is routed to the ProCharger intake/filter

Thanks in advance for any feedback people can provide. I know this subject has been completely beaten to death.

Here is my 2 cents. First off in a normal NA set up you only need the catch can on the drivers side as that is the side that flows from the motor.

But in a set up where the manifold can be sometimes be under pressure that it may keep the pcv valve closed. When this happens the flow is reversed and pushes out the passenger side. See, in a normal operation the crankcase is evacuated by crankcase pressure and vacuum from the manifold. With times of zero vacuum or positive manifold pressure this normal flow is disrupted. My suggestion is to get an oil cap breather from Central Florida Motorsports. It has a check valve in it and helps reduce crankcase pressure in these situations. Those with a twin screw or roots type blower will not have this issue as the boost is produced after the intake and pcv system.

Or just switch to breathers and be done with it. I have removed the pcv valve and run breathers on both valve covers and the oil cap.

When I got the car it just had the passenger side catch can, that was routed from the passnger side VC to the nipple on the procharger intake. I added the driver side can you can see in the pcis in the last 6 months. Appreciate the feedback and I'll go order a breather from Central Florida Motorsports and see what happens.

Thanks
