Ok, this might sound like babble, cause I'm on my phone at work, but this morning I went to go to work and my battery was dead, you know the clicking sound. So i jumped it off with my battery boost thing, well everything was working fine, then I unhook my battery boost, then all the power goes out on the car, no brake lights, seat belts, anything radio, nothing. The car idled very rough and when I go to drive it falls on its face. I know the fuel pump isn't getting enough power, I got that, what iLife don't understand is if its the alternator or what's going on. If I kill it, it won't start again without a jump. Please someone help and sorry for the message if its unclear. Just in a hurry to figure this out

Do you have a meter? I would check the voltage of the system while the car is running. Sounds like an alternator problem.

Upon returning home after pt this morning I was able to look under the hood good, amd apparantly my wire from my alternator to my battery was burnt in half, weird but it is fixed now.
