I think its been noted before that the spydershaft may not really show up on a dyno

Montreal Qc,
A mod that frees up rotating mass will not show up on the dyno results but the car will accelerate quicker.
As for the charge motion plates was the car tuned for them because I saw a 2/10ths of a second difference with them on my friends car.

yeah the most we've ever seen is 8-10hp on a dyno and that was a bone stock auto. It's at the track where the drop in rotating weight really makes itself known.
I didn't notice too much by installing the CMCV deletes either but mine wasn't dyno tuned after the install. I'm sure if we did we may have found a few hp with the CMCV delete swap.

I would be willing to bet that if you hit the track with those 2 mods you would see an improvement in your e.t.

Even the temperature and humidity on different days will affect the dyno numbers.

I agree the weather from day today can really affect dyno#'s and each dyno is calibrated differently and each brand dynos all read differently. I dyno'd 281hp on one then 296rwhp on another with no other changes and the weather was pretty consistant during both sessions. Imagine if i had used the latter dyno first then followed it up with a 15rwhp loss on the other one.

I'd bet he doesn't take it to the track though, which would be unfortunate if I'm right.

Both those mods yielded a lower e.t. for me

In all honesty, if he has doesn't go to the strip and has no intention of doing so, I would have spent the money elsewhere.
