Considering SCTX4 but only have MAC

OK so I have been looking to get a tune for my car. I only have MAC computers.
I see I can install windows on my MAC using Boot camp.

What version of windows work better with the SCTX4 tuner?
I have seen some people had issue with the newest version of windows.

Where is the best or cheapest place to download windows7 or earlier versions?

I was considering just getting cheap laptop but seems cheaper to just run windows on my MAC.

You can run Boot Camp and load Win 7 on it.

I had done it at one time, but for some reason my data logs were not reading all the sensors. I then found a cheap Dell laptop and run Win 7 on it....no issues. I only run my Dell laptop for tuning, nothing else.

Thanks for the input. Gonna see about getting a free trial of windows 7. I guess it good for 90 days. Just need to be able to data log and make sure tune is safe. In the mean time I will be on the lookout for a cheap laptop just for my car.

You might check out an android system. IIRC SCT has software that works with android.
