Convertible top

My top has stopped working. Swapped out the motor, changed the switch. The motor is getting power and the top will jerk slightly when you hit the switch. Is there a lock out sensor? I cannot see any obstruction, because you lower and raise the top by hand. All the mechanisms move fine. I should add that this problem occurred after replacing the ECU .

Maybe a window position sensor?.. just a shot in the dark. At least some tops, vette convertible tops for example, require the windows to go down before the top moves.

My 2014's windows go down automatically when you press the button.

Same on my 2006. First thing it does when the top switch is hit. Maybe something is tripping the system on yours?

My windows go down automatically when you hit the switch. The top just doesn't go up or down.

Update: As of Saturday, it won't even go down manually. It moves about 1 foot, then stops.
