Cone Sweeper
Track Whore
It's fairly simple...and it looks like it won't come out b/c of how it sits against the glass but it pops out real easy. Each side is is i think 3 pins each..
Isn't the cabin air filter stuffed under there? He was quoting something I had done for track days.. and it can be done on the street as well as water would not effect this in any bit. The black plastic pieces that lie under your wind shield wipers.. there are 2 of them. Their held in by push pins ( the black annoying ones ). Simply remove the pins and pull the pieces off. You don't need to remove the wind shield wipers in order to achieve this.
Ahhh OK cool - thanks for clearing that up. I'm going to have try this the next time I'm on track. No sir.. it's where the air comes from but not there when you remove that piece.. you see straight to the floor.. it's the hole between the fake and real fire wall
Take a photo of it and post it up.also, what tool would i use to shave off the back portion.
im not getting any hood flutter anyways. But wouldnt it create MORE hood flutter since more air is entering into the bay where it builds up and creates high pressure? or is that wrong
I guess that is why mine runs so cool - The Roushcharger just dumps fuel in at top revs.![]()
Sweeper, you thought of doing the 2010 GT500 vent mod yet?
Yes I've thought about it and keep planning to find the thread showing how it was done but so far have not found time to find it.
I'm much more concerned about under hood temps in stop and go daily use than on the track and think that mod should help.
not to rant...but corner carvers has great tech and info, but i can't join b/c of my f'n email account...havent been able to for years...its the most annoying thing on the f'n planet!!!!!
Check out this thread, lotta interesting applications, including GT500 vents:

Yeah I had to sign up with my work email. You can READ the forums without signing up, though; you just can't view a lot of the attachment pictures.
