Wow...... I want a 5.0 just to get this
Since it broke at 715 whp do you have an opinion on what the safe limit for hp is with this kit on a stock engine?

You would really have to define the word safe for me to be able to answer it. Considering that some stock engines blow up, then nothing is safe, even stock.![]()

I think we could start off with "not break on the first pass" as a definition of safe![]()
Really? That's your only definition of safe? Then I'd say you could run 800 rwhp safely. The oil pump broke on this one but there are plenty of cars that haven't broken the pump at that power level on the first pass.
It was a serious question honestly. That is like saying what makes a girl pretty? Everyone's answer is different.
How do do drive it? How often? Do you want to run it at that power level all the time or just sometimes?
Now, if you asked me for a recommendation as to what power level you could run on a daily driver and not really drive the car any differently, put 93 octane in and not worry about it, I would say 550 rwhp on a supercharged car and 600 on a turbo car.
But anytime you modify the car, you are really taking a chance.
It wasn't really that complicated, if you want people to buy this kit they are gonna wanna know how much power they can make on a stock engine (something I feel like most people have) without destroying it right away. It seems to me like the first question most people would ask, sorry I used the word "safe".
Sorry if I came off wrong but thats a question that gets asked a lot. It really just a sliding scale of risk. I'd rather tell you up front than what you will hear from most others....
'Don't worry everything will be fine! '
I'd rather you know the risks going in.

No big deal, I wouldn't want someone to read this and be like "oh yeah a turbo kit has no risk at all" lol.
I guess a good selling point would be proof of that power that a blower sucks up making it to your tires.
Down the road, if the 3v comes into play... Im in lol
Yeah, it's so smooth down the track you barely can tell it's going fast. It was on this tune, except we had ice in the tank
