Crank Shaft Bearing

Bought used 4.6 3v and noticed a needle bearing on backside of crankshaft where torque converter mounts onto. The original 4.6 3v coming out does not have it. Should I remove this bearing and thoughts are much appreciated. See pics....

1- engine just purchased
2 - engine that came out

@ SA210 BEWARE that you use the correct alternator !! Auto vs Manual the alternators are different- ( pulleyvise )

So you need to use the alternator that was original in your car
