My car has a plenum cover that looks like the "powered by ford" covers, except it doesnt have the emblem or the powered by ford letters. Just plain silver with raised ribs on it. It looks pretty boring. I thought of painting it sonic blue to match my car, but thought it may look to dark under the hood. I do a little custom painting and airbrushing on the side and thought about going that route. Can you guys post up pics of your custom painted or custom aftermarket plenum cover for me? Or gimme some idea of how to paint mine. Thanks, Jared

Those are nice but the realistic flames have been over done, and just dont do it for me. I wish the cover didnt have the ribs on it. Maybe I could sand them off.......

i kinda did a favor to a friend by letting him give this to a guy to paint. its not that great, and i will be getting it redone. the guy was in a bad way and needed some cash so my buddy payed him to paint this seeing as the guy wouldnt just let him lend him the money

Has anybody done this? I have the powered by ford cover with the pony and thought the same thing about the ribs.
Once I get a guys Jeep painted and shipped out I am gonna try it. Worst case I have to buy a new plenum cover. If the ribs weren't there it'd open up alot of different options for airbrushing:clap:
