With all the products out there I'd say its damn difficult for an average joe saturday detailer to test them all out, much less create a perfect detailing arsenal. I myself have bought redundant products which never get used, and then I get pissed off about wasting money. List your detailing arsenal and perhaps provide some feedback? As of April 1st, my cars birthday...I'm going to tear through my detail cabinet to trim the fat and order new things to fill the holes.

Here's what I have so far...

Car Wash Soap - Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax
Quick Detailer - Meguiars QD - (Will be replacing with Finish Kare 421
Wheel Cleaner - Sonax Full Effect
Wheel Sealant - Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Tire Dressing/Sealant - Tufshine (Not happy with the level of shine, will be looking for something new)
Engine Bay/ Wheel Well Detailer - Chemical Guys Bare Bones
Chrome - Mothers California Gold Chrome Polish
Exterior Black Plastic - Chemical Guys VRP
Interior Plastic - Poorboys Trim Restorer
Leather Cleaner/Conditioner - Poorboys Leather Stuff
General Degreaser - Poorboys All Purpose Biodegradable Cleaner
Windows - Stoners Glass Cleaner
Carpet Cleaner - BlueMagic 912 Heavy Foam Carpet Cleaner
Microfiber Towels - Wal Mart Microfibers (Probably gonna be upgrading these...)

Deep Swirls - Poorboys SSR 3
Medium Swirls - Poorboys SSR 2.5
Light Swirls - Meguiars Mirror Glaze #9 Swirl Remover 2.0
Polish -
Glaze -
Paint Cleanser -
Sealant - Poorboys EX-P
Wax - Meguiars Mirror Glaze #26 Hi-Tech Liquid Car Wax

As I was writing this I also got an email from autogeek for their VIP special on original formula Blackfire Gloss Shampoo, SRC Compound, and Tire gel....

I wish I had never discovered the BOGO's at Autogeek. I used to be able to put all of my microfibers and waxes/polishes/sealants in one rubbermaid tote... not anymore.

I like the CG Pomegranate window cleaner I just got, it works good.
Also, Poorboys Suds and shine is a nice shampoo.
Tried BFWD for the first time last night. I really like it, easy on - easy off

You've definitely got a nice collection to start, others I would take a look at;

Meguiar's 105/205 is a nice staple to have. I've always loved Optimum products, No Rinse, Opti-Bond, Opti-Seal.

For washing, Griot's has a really nice car wash I've always liked.

1Z Einszett also makes a few products that i've always liked. Their rubber care stick is a staple, as well as their interior cleaner.

Yay, actual feedback. Thanks for the input.

As soon as my Wax runs out I'll be in the market for new stuff... Yet I'm very tempted to try CG Lava and Blacklight Combo

I'm curious to see how black light and lava play together, considering lava has a "Glaze" component built into it.

A lot of people are saying Lava is basically a paste version of blacklight except, it has long term protection with a carnauba base.

I want to try lava.

Hopefully it won't be one more of those cans on my shelf that has dust on it...

HitandRun: You've got some good stuff there. My collection of products isn't quite as big, but I'm close. As you suggested, I'd definitely upgrade your microfiber towels. I have a few of those wal mart towels, but they've been thrown into the rag pile. They'll probably end up being used to check oil or detail under the hood.
