Has anyone had any experience using the ScratchWizard paint repair kit?
http://scratchwizard.net/

It seems like a pretty good option, as it tackles both road rash and deeper scratches. I have also looked into Dr. ColorChip, and according to a search here some members have used it and liked it, but were not thrilled.

I have some road rash on my front bumper and hood, as well as a deep scratch near the driver side turn signal.

I don't have experience with Scratch Wizard, but I tried Dr. Color Chip on my previous daily driver and while it was better, I was not satisfied at all...

On my Mustang, I had a 3M clear bra installed the first month I had it. 19,000 miles later and the nose is still perfect.

Dr. Color Chip is what I'm going to try I have a bunch of rock chips on the front of both fenders . I'm not expecting it to look perfect but little less noticeable.

Fill them with paint, wet sand just the filled area, then lightly feather the edges & buff. I do it all the time

This is the best process I've seen - never had any luck with DR CC, Motorcraft paint is thicker and better imo....

Yeah that's what I read when I searched the topic, but I've also seen a few blogs by mobile paint repair guys who said that Dr. ColorChip was what they used exclusively. I have yet to see anything about Scratch Wizard, but it seems pretty legit based on the testimonials and pictures.

I would go with what 28ONE. It is defiantly by far the best method for chip or scratch repair. Larry at AMMO is also very very good detailer. I have also used dr colorchip. For road rash it does alright but for actualt chips it just makes it the same color it doesn't fill tge entore chip.

Yeah, that process seems quite a bit more involved. I appreciate the input on the Dr. ColorChip for sure.

Side note, I'm thinking of getting the silver AMR wheels for my car as soon as I see them on clearance, they look great on your car.

It's involved but probably the best way. I also dont know how well Dr CC will do in the strach as it fills in a chip not a line. I would think if you wiped it off perpendicular to th strach and not with it it would help.

Thanks I love the way they look. I wish theh came with a metal finish also

Yeah, I ended up going with the scratch wizard, at the least it will blend some road rash and if it doesn't work out then no harm no foul.

I wish the silver was just a bit brighter, like the RTR wheels.
