Received this yesterday and arrived with damages. It's a factory reproduction aluminum hood. It's got a dent in the middle and one of the corners got dent as well.

The center has a rash as well.

I would say the dent and the edge possibly yes. The Corner I would say no. Did you just purchase this and that is the way it was delivered?

The seller gave me a full refund and let me keep it. So as I still want to use just wanted to see if it was repairable being aluminum.

It's just a simple matter of rearranging the molecules.

Any good body man can save that hood. Ask around town who does the best custom body work and go to them/him.

wow, good deal! Talk to Gabe at Impressive, I know he's got a good aluminum guy, they did a Maserati hood that was vandal damaged with a claw hammer, new hood was $32K, IIRC, and they fixed it for like $10K. Tell him you know Dave with the white Shelby.

body man here.
yes that hood can be repaired.
they have tools that weld special studs on aluminum panels to pull the dent out. there are also tools to glue tabs on the hood and pull the dent out that way. either way is done all of the time in bodyshops.
on the edge they will straighten the edge and then they will probably aluminum mig weld up the rip.
after the panel is roughed out they will use a filler that is made for aluminum to finish it off.
find a body shop that actually has these tools and it will be a simple repair.

aluminum is getting common place now but there are a LOT of body shops that aren't equipped to do repairs on aluminum panels.

I'll try to pop the dent out myself with a glue gone dent popper as I have some other dents I want to try it on as well.

As for the corner I'll just bang it back to shape and have the body shop refine it more.

At least now I won't feel so bad cutting the hole for shaker scoop.
