I just installed a pioneer 4400. with my infinity componets, holy hell it sounds awesome, except my door panels sound like they are falling apart. i can press on the armrest area and it stops. i've already glued the door handle bolt cover down, how do i stop the rest from rattling like a tin roof.

i'm thinking some of that expanding foam in a can might be good.

Did you try pulling the door panel off itself? Is it both door panels or just one?

There is a TSB about door rattle. They put some foam tape on the window switches iirc.,.
Search the TSB thread for door rattle.

I used some double stick tape on all those small pieces. Worked pretty good too.

bought some foam tape and went to town on the window switches and it helped a lot, not that i can hear it now.

I spent the rest of the day installing the 05-09 JL stealth box 13W6 with an Apline M500 mono amp. my gf now really enjoys the seats when the bass hits. it's one of the loudest single subs i've ever heard. i had to turn the gain all the way down to level out the bass with the rest of the stereo.
