Drag tires ?

To the guys running 15" bogarts and DOT slicks, Do you balance the wheel and tire or just leave it? Guys here told me to leave them but when I get to 4th gear the car vibrates a lot.

If you ask M/T they say static balance for slicks but I had mine spin balanced w/o a problem.

I never balance slicks. They move on the rim on every pass, so they would be out out balance after a few runs anyway.

Slicks will have a bit of a wobble at the top end just by their very nature. If its a bad vibration, you might either increase tire pressure or make sure the front tires are balanced. Mine did that last year, and I had the skinnies balanced and it went away.
