Upon removing the stock seats because they were filthy and had no foam...I bought the car that way less than a month ago. In any case I purchased some 2014 GT seats which were a better color for my 2007 anyway. The wiring harness needed swapped because my 07 doesn't have driver seat airbags. Anywho my question is, what is the yellow plug for? My guess was for the airbag, which I don't need or want hooked up to the seat. Can I simply plug a yellow loopback connector to it and be done with it or is it something else to do with safety and I'm just not realizing what. Any help is appreciated.

Tape up the end of the connector, a static charge could set the bag off. Tuck it up in the seat out of the way. Did the same with my seats.
