Got a new set of 2024 ecoboost wheels for my 06. The dust caps are to big for my center caps to fit on the front. I hate the way the wheels look without the center caps. How can I get around this? I've thought about removing the dust caps but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I've also considered taking a dremal and grinding the dust caps down a little bit but again, not sure if that's a good idea.

I wouldn't remove the dust caps and you'll grind through them before you remove enough material to get those center caps on. I've actually never seen a wheel that was so shallow at the center it wouldn't clear the S197 bearing.
Your options at this point are leave it as is, run spacers or get different wheels.

You might be able to find an alternate/deeper cover that will accommodate you, but it would probably take trial/error.
