This. The Koni cartridge is different than your off the shelf Koni Yellows. Even the rears which I've seen bear both the Sport's part number and a different part number are revalved to the specs that Ground Control asks for by Koni before they ever reach their location. The GC Koni inserts are not a set of Koni Sports/Yellows with collared sleeves although GC does offer a collared sleeve if you want to make that mistake! :)

This is true. The Specific Griggs cartridge are also valved differently from the coil overs Ground control offers.

Still don't know why these eibachs are failing.. my alignment guy says hes never seen a problem with double a-arm cars and eibachs.. Wonder if they just haven't figured out mcpherson style, and the loads that come with it.

Eibach wants me to return the kit...
Someone tell me what to buy! MCS AST?? I'd like to buy from vorshlag as I've had good luck with their CC plates, and I would also need them to redo them to fit whatever I buy.

Just call Vorshlag. Tell them how much you got to spend and your goals and that you already have their plates and I'm sure you will be pleased with their recommendation. But if you want ME to tell you what to buy? No problem: buy the MCS.

The only cars we've seen with Eibach coilovers eventually had bent and leaking coilovers. This is common knowledge in the suspension/racing world, but somehow there aren't a lot of people that know about this...

edit: As an Eibach dealer, it doesn't make sense for me to shout about their dampers from the rooftops, when it is not good news. Its... I dunno, just not my place to dog on other brands of shocks that we don't sell. I will say this: we sell the brands we do because they work well and have proven reliability.
