Adam's Americana stored for about a year since it was last used. Stored inside my house in a closet with low humidity. I use dry silicia in the container that the LSPs are stored and never have had any problem with any other waxes. Very weird. LOL

I've seen some pretty old waxes stored over long periods of time. That's a first for me.

Looks like it was by a heat source of some sort. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause it to separate like that. Is there a heat vent in the closet? Lamp? Anything that could put off some heat?

All my Optima products did simular things when I left them in my garage (GA heat) and didn't use them for a year plus.

Other than that, I've not see that.

I know some waxes and polishes with petroleum distillates will cause separation to happen from temperature change.

Nope, no heat source. It was pretty crazy. Something got in there and started growing.
