Need to replace the hangers for the exhaust, looking for suggestions. Still have the brackets/rubber on the body so I just need to replace hangers on pipe….or whatever's best? Seeing 2 main types but just started looking…need to confirm pipe size. 2006 ROUSH. I like the way it sounds, whatever’s on it, so I’ll prob just replace the tips after paint and run it awhile

The rod type seems like it’d be more sturdy/less vibration buuuut I dunno!!

I recommend a reputable muffler shop. They will make sure the exhaust is even and snugged up.

Guess I could just temp them up till I get her rollin and go to a shop. Based off tear down, before I reinstall the rearend or any suspension parts I need to get the exhaust over the rearend.

I have used coat hangers and beer cans with worm clamps to mock up an exhaust system just to get it to my muffler guy.

Haha, my exhaust shop made fun of me the last time I brought a car in. I used coat hangers to mock it up and then had them weld in hangers.

Just wondering, but are those tailpipes all one piece? It looks like the tailpipes have been welded on. If so they will have to be cut to be installed, in which case I'd definitely recommend taking to to an exhaust shop.

Looks like the Roush extreme catback. You can visit an exhaust shop, get them to use some heavy duty 7 hooks. They can heat them up to bend them in the proper positions to use the factory hanger rubber mounting locations.

Im not sure to be 100% honest. They have a wrap on them that I’m not really wanting to get into bcz I’m reusing them. I think the part in red is one of the sleeve’s used to connect the pipes. The rearend is pretty much out of the car so I can still get them in there I think.
