I installed and off road pipe and getting a bad leak where it bolts to the manifold. I have cranked on it so much that the Hpipe flange is starting to bend. What's the best/easiest way to get this leak plugged?

Thanks

Did you tighten the bolts simultaneously? or did you tighten one all the way and then the other?

Alittle coat of RTV, then like killr said tighten them alittle bit each one. I ended up cutting my pipe and fitting it at the flange because of the way the pipe sit it didn't sit flush and had a gap so once the rtv gave out I'd have a leak.

Can't really remember. Maybe I'll try tightening the leak side first or try it evenly.

Sorry it's an off-road pipe. I lost a cat and had the off road pipe in the shed.

How could you tell if it mated properly? I can't even see to make sure that the fit is good. To make thing bad, the pipes are all welded...

He was asking what brand bro. Might be the reason it's leaking (quality issues)

Mine was pypes also. When its up in the air get take a little bit of soapy water, and put it up there and see where the bubbles are. Thats what I did with my turbo kti and exhaust.

Not sure how much pay I have in it now that it's welded. Might have to cut it and reweld it. Trying to figure out where I got it from so that maybe I could order the short flange pipe and try it again.

Fuel trim data is wigging out on that side. Hopefully because of the exhaust leak and not a cylinder issue.

Like stated, first coat the sockets with copper sealant. If you replace the bolts with longer threaded studs it allows you to tighen it a little more as well. I think im going to have to replace the 2 bolts with studs on the driver side because the turbo pipe doesnt fully tighten as much as i would like.
