Yeah I don't have other info yet either as far as wheel sizes but the pair are 1000rwhp capable from what I understand. Once I get more info I will post it up.

So here's a question...

I guess I am going to get started on modding the F150 now that the Mustang is put away and I have a "beater" to keep the useless (commuting) miles off the truck:

Has anyone considered the F150lifts Boss coilovers kit? At the moment I am back and forth about how much of a leveling kit to run (2" or 2.5")... but then I just read enough posts to say "screw it" and go for the 2.5 front. So my plan was to go for the autospring setup at 2.5" front with the 3" rear block. Then maybe add the billsteins at stock ride height and still use the spacers to improve ride quality. That seems cheaper than coil overs.

Any thoughts on this... or is it really worth it for me to do coilovers for a truck that rarely goes off the road?

Are you buying his truck?

A lot of guys on the F150 forums are running the F150 Lifts Boss coilovers. Personally I think if I were going to spend the money I'd just go Kings or Icon but they aren't a bad option by any means that's just me.

I'm running a 2" leveling kit just because I wanted to be a little nicer to my CV axles. I still added a slightly larger block to the rear as well.

Your last plan isn't a bad idea at all either because it will be a better ride than just a Bilstein 5100 leveling strut. The Rancho RS9000s / Quick Lift isn't a bad option either for the money and they are completely assembled so that makes installation breeze. I'm running RS9000s in the rear and love them. Much more comfortable compared to the Bilstein 5100 rears.

Yeah, I remember you were debating what to do with your car a few months ago. I guess your decision is paying off!

I'll spoil his surprise, 2015 z06

I should pick this fx4 up from him this coming Tuesday when I take a train up North to get it, or Wednesday the latest when I can get a ride down there. Wish he wasn't 4 hours away haha. I HATE trains, and this would already be in my garage.
