how much boost are you going to be running? I be great to see how each of our set ups do. I did a 302 ported heads, 127550 cams, C&L manifold, 80lbs injectors 15%overdive pulley, Paxton 2200, jba long tube headers, duel saleen fuel pump, and built power pipe. Not sure what the boost I will be making but I'm guessing around 20. But I hoping for the same numbers you are looking for.

You didn't say which blower pulley you are using but I suspect you will see over 20 psi. My big bore 302 with ported heads and 127350's makes around 21-22 psi (7200 engine rpm) with a 2.95 pulley and 10% od crank but is also pretty much at the max recommended blower rpm so my blower is pretty much making all the boost it can safely make.

I beleave I have 3.12 on there so with the 15% and everyone has said a power pipe gain 2 lbs of boost should be right ere around 20

I measured mine today finally and I have a 3" pulley. Due to my 324ci, bigger tb, cams, headers, 3" piping, etc, I'm only making 15psi. I talked to KB and they are sending me out a 2.5" pulley but I will have to set my rev limiter to 6500 bc I will be maxing out the sc if I go any further that than. But this will get me in my boost range

IMO you should not need to go higher then 6500 anyhow. Wouldnt the boost just start to fall after that abyhow?

Who cares what the factory rev limiter is set at, he has a well built 323 big bore stroker with cams, spin that bitch and let it eat. I know my big bore will be seeing 7000 rpm shift points and the rev limiter set to 7500, but I plan to go through the traps at around 7300-7400.

I would if the SC would allow...I will most likely be shifting at 6k or 6200 just to make sure.

I understand your reasoning and it is sound. I on the other hand have mine setup to hit the rpm limits of the superchargers at around 7300 engine rpm which makes for a very fun ride.

well I got my baby back today but theres a catch. when they were doing the soft tune they got up to 475hp and my twin saleen pump fuel pump was falling on its face and they were seeing a drop of 20 psi. So my thought was triple hat so i have room to grow but talking to the shop and they were saying keep it simple and go with a GT500 and add a boost a pump. yall have a view on this?

You should only need a boost a pump if your going to stay around 500-550 hp...Im running gt500 dual pumps with a dual bap with my setup and 80# injectors...I cant remember what this setup is good for but I don't think Im maxing it out

btw - I think the tuner took out fuel across the entire tune...I went out cruising today with my buddy in his new CTS-V and I messed around with him a little trying not to WOT too much before getting tuned. Well, I noticed on a quick WOT, my a/f was like 14.3!!!!! I shut it down quick and took it back to the house...Cant wait to get this thing tuned so Im not scared to drive it.

You will be fine with the gt500 dual pumps and dual BAP until around 650-700whp. I'm at 635whp on 60lb injectors with the gt500 setup.

Good luck this weekend, been following both you your threads for a long time. Its about time for the dyno gods to grant you access to the holy grail of holy shit that's a lot of horsepower club!

I hate being a dumb ass. I started thinking about the problem and the pump I have should have a problem at all where its at. And like last night the little things that you dont think of bite you in the ass. like trying to drive home in the rain with blades that have been seating for a year and a half. Back to the problem at hand I dont think it is my pumps I haven't changed the fuel filter out. And starting to think about it I wonder if that is the cause of my engine blow up in the first place the filter had just under 20k on it before the motor went. I'm hoping the filter is it and save myself some money.
