Finally in 12's......

Finally sneaked into the 12's an the NMRA event in Atlanta last weekend. I was entered in Roush SST class...previous 2 days of passes netted nothing quicker than 13.24. First thing Sunday morning was first round of eliminations. I dialed in a 13.23. I was racing a 10.2 car. As you can see I cut a good light and the other guy never caught up. I was watching in the mirror...when I saw he wasnt gonna catch me, I lifted so I wouldnt break out. Felt good about it until I was handed my timeslip....12.97! Fail!
mph was only 99 due to lifting...now I wished I had just stayed in it to see what I would have run.

Nice! I got my 12.94 on streets last week. Loosing on a pb is a good and bad feeling.

Congrats! I too finally ran [email protected] with a 1.91 60' on street tires about a week ago. The track was finally prepped decent.
