Took my wife's 2014 to the track. Mods are Steeda Cold Air, Bama tune, and MBRP catback. Ran a best of 12.748 @110 with a 2.00 60ft. This was on ET Streets. It did not seem to spin. I launched ar 1200, 1500, and punch off idle. Any ideas on how to get this car to 60ft better? I figured atleast 1.9s with the ET Streets. Ran from 20 psi down to 16 psi. Any ideas would be helpful.

Something don't sound right there. Did you shut down the advantrac? Holding down the tc button for several second til the display in dash says advantrac off. Can you post timeslip?

That time wouldn't be bad if you were in Denver. Seriously, get a tune from Mike Rousch at Mid Atlantic Performance. Auto cars with his tune are turning 11.7-11.8's with nothing but a CAI.

Trap seems way low? What size ET street? 28" will just slow it down more. I ran faster on stock Pirellis than a 28" et street because that lowers the gearing even more.

Ditto on the Mike R tune. Get rid of the bama tune ASAP.

What was the DA? Trap seems fine to me when compared to the many autos I've seen run. Some higher, some lower. Manuals trap higher. If anything the ET is a tenth or two low for those mods. Probably the lowly Bama tune. With the stock converter you don't even need those tires. It flashes off idle, just punch it. You should get 1.9's out of it.

When my '14 GT AT had just a bama tune and 28" tall DR's, I went no quicker than 12.60 @ 111 on a 1.94 60'. 100% stock airbox, exhaust, suspension, etc. That was in 1000-1400' DA. Added 1-pc d/s and Circle-D converter, car went 12.03 @ 113 on a 1.65 60' in DA just barely under sea level (same crappy bama tune). These cars love converters and "good" tunes.

DeepImpactPony,
Traction Control was off but what does Advancetrac off do?

Grabber Blue 5.0,
Double checked and rear end is a 3.15.

Unreal,
It is a 26" ET Street.

Five-OH,
DA was 1323. I punched it off idle and it just spun to a 2.4 60'.

So I guess first would be a new tune from a different tuner.

Humm, your track must have about the worst prep in the county then. On even just fair prep, a stock converter/geared auto 5.0 leaving at idle should just about dead hook.

Did you heat tires up for 4 second in 2nd gear at 40-50 mph to get proper heat in them

Track is not the best prepped, but I didn't spin when I reved to 1200 or 1500. From idle I just slammed it to the floor on the third yellow. Should I lightly ease it and then floor it off the line. I did heat the tires up for about 5 seconds in first gear. This weekend I will be at a better track, Royal Purple Raceway, for Fun Ford, so we will see if it is the track or the car.

I have an auto with similar mods but a Mike rousch tune, 3.15 gear, stock suspension and was on 19" all season street tires this past weekend and had a best of 1.97 60'. DA 2071. I was leaving just off idle.

Can you post the time slip? My car was slower trying to stall the stock converter, it ran faster ever time I left off idle.
