Those were of the car in Semi-Gloss Black. It has just a bit more shine. Not polish or waxable though. The order from shine from greatest to least is: 1)Gloss 2)Semi gloss 3)Satin 4) Flat.
I would stick with Semi to Satin. Flat looks almost grey for the record.
Anyone thinking they can do these paint jobs and not have to worry about dirt is crazy. I have to wash my car every 2-3 days as apossed to 1 time a week with gloss. It shows more dirt. But when it's clean back da fu@!!! up cause it is bangin!!!!
On a plus side as well:
Wraps cost thousands. Top notch paint shops cost thousands. Do urself a favor and get the whole damn car sanded, primed, even the door jams, trunk jams and hood jams painted for $700 at "EARL SHIBE" like I did!!!
I don't care what anyone says. I watched them do some of the work. I even explained to the manager that I was taking it to car shows to get them on my page. After I first picked it up I saw an imperfection on the hood and rear bumper. They repainted it and said that they wouldn't charge me til I was 100% satisfied.
It has held up strong and perfect for over "two years". One of the best mod deals I have ever done!
You can also call them and ask for them to contact you the next time they do a flat black car so u can go in and see it. That's what I did
Even if it needed painting every 5 years(which I'm seriously telling you I doubt) I could spend less $$ in 15+ years with this then some super dupper off the charts paint shop!
Maybe gloss is another story--But these flat blacks u should take my word on if ur determined to paint the son ah bitch anyway.
Save ur damn money!!!! Go my route. Get a blower and paint!!! LMAO Or whatever other mod ur wanting
