I have here a factory intake manifold that has been modified to accept a single blade throttle body. In doing so we removed the center post and mildly ported and massage the inlet at the throttle body opening. There is minimal gain to this but it is worth a few HP. Just one of the little tricks that helped my acheive over 390 RWHP on motor alone!!

Works fine, i actually ran both the GT500 and the Whipple for a while with this. The stock will even fit as well!! There is nothing required for fitment.

If I was to put this on a relative stock car, would this work, and provide some additional ponies?

Not much maybe 4-5 HP. Where this manifold helps is in the higher RPM where restriction is an issue. If you added a bigger TB with it you may see about 10 HP. Probably notice more throttle response too.
