So they are leaving all of the other ecoboost owners in the dark who want more power. How nice of them. My point is these engines have been out for awhile and they reach their limit because no one offers a fuel upgrade for them. All of a sudden FRPP has one????
Well the the 2.3 for the Mustang may have an additional lobe to drive the HPFP more, or they could have a higher pressure HPFP on board. We don't know yet because nobody who has spoken publically has looked at those details yet.

And this is posted where? And from the crappy picture it looks like a hoosier slick, not a radial. Looking solely at how the lettering is on the tire, thats how hoosiers are.

Pulling the tires that high and only running 12.5's, something don't' add up.

Even if it was on a slick, I don't find it any less impressive personally. These 4 cylinder Ecoboosts are really well engineered and once the aftermarket gets the fueling sorted out you are going to see some sick builds. The same fueling issues are also holding back the 3.5 EB. With supplemental fueling I've seen them eclipse 600whp in a Ford Flex. No nitrous or meth injection, just good ole' E85.

Torque monster off the line and then falls on its face, waiting for the turbo to build boost again.

I don't get it in the mustang. I love my best friends eb fusion, though. Great daily for him. It will be interesting to see how many Ford sells.

Don't care if it passes me by a mile... it's going to sound like shit doing it.
And that gentlemen accounts for an easy 75% of my whole car experience.

There is always going to be someone faster, I don't worry about dick measuring/piss contests.
But sound... that's something special.

4 cylinder can have a way better exhaust note than the V6.

I gotta say I have to agree here. I get a chubby in my special parts every time I crank my car up, or when I am rowing through the gears...Can't really put a price tag on that.

Not hating on the EB at all, I actually think it will be a great addition to the Mustang line up, but I could never own one, knowing that I could've had that sweet V8 melody...

Hoosier makes drag radials.

ford best be careful and not make it a v8 killer, wouldn't do to well if it hurt v8 sales.

Would be exactly like what BMW did a few years back. 135i/335i's were smoking M3's with a simple $300 piggyback tune. M3 owners that paid well over $30K more were pretty pissed, LOL. Don't get me wrong, the M3 is the complete package in the BMW world but it has to hurt to get walked by a little in-line 6 twin turbo with a piggyback tune......

Not to my ears but to each their own, I still give the car all the props in the world for putting some work in.
Have you heard that v6 car that keeps getting put on 1320? I'd rather heard a honda with a fart cannon.

V8 sales are not Fords bread and butter. The #1 selling Mustang has always been the 4cyl/6cyl models. This '15 will be no different.

I'll bet Ford would rather sell eco's than GT's anyway.
