I just installed a new ford racing intake on my 07 gt, and am having an issue with the top vacuum line, the "smaller one" will not clip back up to the intake, but will clip back onto the stock intake with no problem. seems the piece coming off of the intake is smaller than the one on the factory intake? anyone had this problem before? have a line and bolt rigged up for now so to block the vacuum leak so its drivable. I did a search but came up with nothing.

aren't you supposed to abandon the stock lines and use rubber vacuum hose?

I have one and took a pic I'm working on that area today.

You need to modify the line. Make sure to use pcv rated line and not heater hose.

Yes it is the top line, I've already modified the other line. How would I modify the the clip? Its as if the part on the intake is to small. It won't clip on.

Just go to an autoparts store and pick up a few feet of fuel line and replace the factory one.

Post up a pic of the clip(coupler) and the barb coming off your intake.
