on my mustang i have the ford racing handling pack is this a good pack or should i upgrade to something new?

As of now I find it great! But here's the catch I'm only 17 so I don't really know what's good and what's not good for a car yet because lack of experince.

I'm not looking to upgrade any time soon just planing for the future because I love my car and want to go on the track once I turn 18 and it's also obviously my DD.

It depends on how much experience you have but the driver mod may be the thing to focus on.

as of right now it's my daily driver. But in the future I want to take my car out on the track and what not. Will it be good for that as well?

If you like it for your current use, you're fine.

If you're just curious as to whether or not there are superior parts or worked out packages, then yes there are (in a wide range of price points). The thread Sleep referenced is a good start.

If you're wondering where Ford's Handling Pack sits within the pecking order of the mentioned range of packages, then you'll likely get a few opinions on the matter. Obviously they're better than stock, as you've witnessed. Can you do better with similar money, I think definitely so but not so much better that you should think you have a horrible package. When it comes time to upgrade, you have room to grow. But first, grow your skills with the car you have now.

yeah make sure you understand handling dynamics and get a comfortable feel for the car first.

Then you can decide to swap things out if necessary.

The frhp setup is good for a novice and for someone that DD and tracks the car very occasionally. These packs are for people like you that want to have a great time at the track without it snapping or ripping your head off.
