hello, if one were to upgrade to a 14" front rotor/caliper kit and maintain a set of rotors and pads for street only use, does this have an effect on factory stability control that would require re-programming? thanks.

We just took our 2013 GT from the 13.2" brakes to the 14" brakes, as detailed in the link above. Night and day difference, no negative impacts in the braking balance. Just a LOT more stopping power and brake heat potential.
thanks. i'm pretty much a novice and i've researched and talked with a couple of experts. as much as i would have liked to get a relatively inexpensive, proven upgrade, they just won't fit my wheels/tires (both summer and winter). which left me what i could find as my only option and i think it's going to be OK with my needs. sure, i'll over drive the factory tires and whatnot, but i won't have to fork over $1,000 for wheels and $1,000 for tires + $$ the brake kit. i settled on a wilwood kit that should fit what i have. i entertained lots of options, but i think i'll be OK especially at my skill level. plus i recognize the cost involved with getting two sets rotors and pads, but that's ok for me at this point any education that results from this decision will be worth it too - except maybe crashing and burning from brake failure. ugh. i tend to do things the hard way.
