Not while we have had it, since 93K miles. We bought it with 93K miles and don't know if it was done at 90K miles as scheduled, engine was too clean to tell. Didn't want to waste the money if it had just been done, and since the motor is noninterference, we decided not to have it done (again?). Some have gone over 160K with no issues, and several mechanics say it is not needed until 120K. But I can work with you on price if it is a concern, most on the Lexus forum have paid from $200-$600. Toyota Dealerships have a coupon for it every once in a while.
