I have a brand new Escort / Passport Direct Wire Smart Cord Wire that features the blue LED. It is brand new in the bag with everything including the instructions.

The direct wire SmartCord accessory is a unique power cord with a power-on indicator, an alert LED lamp that warns you of radar and laser, and a convenient mute button. Users wire the cord directly into the vehicle fuse panel, and then mount the display module within arm's reach. It's the perfect addition for any driver who might have trouble reaching the detector's mute button on the windshield. As well as moving the "Smart Cord" to a location of your choosing so you can see the alerts and have the ability to mute it. I purchased it on Amazon from Escort for $34 shipped. I think the price is pretty fair... Spent $34 on it and am only going to profit $15 from it. In fact, I'm going to put this sale on hold right now.
