Fuel pump dilemma.

Hey guys,

I am in need of a fuel pump decision. Lol.

I have a setup that consist of:

06 GT
5.4 3V swap
Ported heads w/cams, springs, titanium retainers, etc
Running 9.25:1 compression.

Precision 76mm ball bearing turbo
A/W behind bumper
I am contemplating fuel system.

I am guessing return style would be best.

I am switching the car to E85 and need to know a good size injector to switch too. I am also installing a fuel cell in the spare tire well, and wanted to ask about fuel pump and filter setup. Magnafuel? Aeromotive?

I have Fore rails as of now.

Any help will be appreciated!!!!

Hey Chris , Ive been dealing with this issue for 2 months , Here is the bottom line . If you are going to put a fuel cell in the trunck with a sump then just go with a Fuel Lab , Aeromotive , Weldon , MagnaFuel , Etc.
You need to make the fuel system return style is your best option .

Since I daily drive the car still , in Miami's 90* heat and humidity a big pump is not practical for Me. Maybe in other parts of the country in a cooler climate it may not be a problem .
If your on pump gas a Fore Fuel Hat with 3 Walbro's is plenty for 850 plus . On E85 though your on the limit like Ive been because of boost and Fuel pressure . Walbro's crap out at 72 to 75 psi's of fuel pressure , so you would need to keep boost around 22 psi's with 48 to 50 rail pressure .
I just took out my ID1000s and Im going to sell them . Great injectors but I needed bigger in order to stay with Walbro's . If you have a big pump then you dont need to worry about fuel pressure and the IDs will work fine just run the pressure higher .
At that power level you need to commit yourself to E85 and get big injectors and dont look back . On pump gas it will be a little tougher to tune down such a big inector.

Thanks Pete!

I am looking at the fuel cell in the trunk, Aeromotive EFI kit, return style, and 120lb injectors.
