Ok, so I installed a DW 400 but once the key is turned on it’ll prime but not shut off after priming. I’ll post pictures of the pump so maybe y’all see something that was done wrong and I can fix the problem.

Well it doesn't really sound like an actual pump issue. If you were to describe the symptoms without knowing the fuel pump was replaced it would sound like a module or sensor issue. Not familiar with the wiring but it could be you have a constant power and a switched power sources reversed, but not sure if that is possible.

totally different year/platform, but on my basically fox swapped '66, when the fuel pump won't shut off after priming, it's always been a tune related issue.

What’s the setup? Fpdm is still in the car ? I have same pump with hat from lmr, but I have a return system with aeromotive fpr through relay that runs from ignition to pump, fpdm is not in a car anymore , so as soon I turn the key to on position (not accessory) the pump primes and won’t stop so I better start the car lol. Been running it like that at 52 psi fp for 3 years now no issue

Also make sure the tip of that screw for the level sender ground wire isn’t touching the pump body on the backside. It will ground the pump and run constantly. Ask how I know lol
