Fuel pump leak

I have a 05 v6 convertible and changed fuel pump. After running for a few minutes fuel comes out of the top of the tank around the pump. Installed a new gasket and still have the same problem. Any suggestions or ideas as to why it is doing this?

Sounds like it is not properly clocked/seated. Also make sure the ring that holds it down did not crack.
