If you have air coming out of the dip stick tube, it's piston related.

I once had a truck with blow by so bad it would literally push the oil dip stick out of the tube. When i disassembled the engine the rings from the #1 cylinder came out in a dozen or so pieces.

I pressurized number 7 with it at top dead center and I don't hear air escaping anywhere, but checked it three times and it has 10lbs of compression at most.

I also took the fuel line apart at the rail tonight to get a sample of the gas to test. Tested right a E87

Air has to go somewhere or it would hold a lot more pressure. Check coolant tank, intake manifold, exhuast and crankcase.

Yeah, it is Bobby. This has been bothering me since Saturday. Right now I am just waiting(very impatiently) until I can get the engine out and tore down to get a game plan. If the block isn't damaged I am wondering if I could go with a set of .030 over 2618 pistons that require a little larger ptb clearance and get away with a hone. Otherwise it is a new block and the combo choices are going to come down to my pocket book.

That has me a little puzzled also Jeremy. I wish I had a bore scope. The lack of compression and oil on the plug means the engine needs to be tore down anyway though so the issue should show itself then I hope

Only checked 6 and 7 and started drinking lol. I borrowed a fitting to do the compression check, I should have my own before I am ready to pull the engine so I could check the rest I guess
