Yeah, I remember.
You better learn to enjoy that thing. It might be gone one day, like mine had to.

We will have to make a new post in the midwest section when it gets closer. That way anyone who wants to go, we can coordinate in there.

Went over to work on the car for an hour or two today. Have a couple issues that will need to be addressed to get the hotside to fit properly. I am going to have to "dent" the crossover just a little bit right under the trans for a little clearance there. Also going to have to redo how/where I have my coolant tank mounted since the up-pipe rests against the 1" hose coming from the lower radiator hose. I will probably have to replace the lower radiator hose with a custom piece to allow the charge pipe to run closer to the frame rail also.

Ring and Pinion haven't shown up from Tasca yet either, so I haven't been able to take the rear end to the shop yet. Trying to decide if it would be worth it or not to install a set of aftermarket axles and c-clip eliminators while it is apart.

I just really need to have a couple days that I can spend all day working on the car. Just can't seem to get anything accomplished working on it for an hour here and there.

Love how parts off one identical set up won't fit on another car with the same set up,lol...I think the full 3" will be well worth it in the end!!

I'm running a 6060 also and the crossover was good. I was not using a coolant tank at all so never had that issue! I did run my coolant tank at one time on my driver side strut tower and was ok, no clearance for the air filter thou. Currently I have my coolant tank on the passenger side and plenty of room!

Yeah, i figured there would be a few issues. The crossover is just touching the trans right where you had it slightly dented already so I just need to "adjust" it a little bit. The last kit was 2.5" There so this wont affect the car at all. The coolant tank I am running is a one off already so that is to be expected. The compessor housing is just touching the cam postion sensor but I am sure that is all easy fix with just orienting the pipe a little better.

My main frustrating is just not having the time to really dig in and get it done. Hard to adress issues when you only get an hour or so here and there to work on it.

Got my ring and pinion kit and bearing kit in from Tasca today. Invoice is for a set of 4.10 gears which I ordered, but I received 4.56 gears instead. Just another setback.

I like Steve but he's only one man. I've noticed orders still take longer from Tasca than from Tousley and I've had errors about 1/4 of the time. I'm sure it will get better in time but it's frustrating.

Ouch that sucks but I may have missed why the 4.10s witha. Turbo set up ?

The 4.10s with a TR6060 will be very close to the 3.55s and a TR3650. With my tire size, 4.10s and the gearing of the TR6060 it puts me at about 142 mph at 7000 rpm in 4th gear.

And yes Skwerl, things happen. I am sure we will get it sorted out. At this point in modding, it would be very unusual to not have a few delays. Maybe he will make me a screaming deal on a boss block for the troubles!
