Ok I ordered some parts this week (I ordered a lot of parts lol) to help me get closer to my goal. I'm curious as to the gains I might/should get out of them. Here's a list of what I've ordered 3.5" aluminum ds, udp's, 150/175 shot jets, panhard bar, panhard brace, cross drill/slotted brakes, and I'll be ordering a radiator support/sway delete today. I know the brakes and suspension are going to be minimal (if any) help. What do most of you guys gain (actual track gains) from an aluminum ds? I know the udp's should get me .75-1 mph and the gains from the jet changes will vary depending on how good I can get it tuned in. On the 150 shot I plan on only running around 19* on pump gas and I might run race gas with it and tune it to 23*. On the 175 I'll only run race gas and I'll set timing at 21*. To those that run bigger shots, does this sound about right as far as timing? I pmed the current record holder but with no response. So I'm not sure what kind of timing I should be looking at for a shot that big. Lmk what you guys think and any advice on timing would be greatly appreciated.

150/175 is really pushing the limits on a stock block. as far as the d/s, youre probably looking at .1-.2 off your times with everything else taken into account.

Yeah I'm really wanting to hit that record. I plan on taking out the seats (passenger 48lbs, rear top/bottom 21lbs), spare (29lbs), jack (7lbs), replacing the radiator support (11lbs), replacing the panhard rod with an aluminum one (2lbs) and I'm trying to locate a set of skinnies to use at the track to save more weight. So almost 120lbs taken out should be right at a 1/10th. I figure on pump a 150 is only gonna gain me .1-.15, race gas .2-.25, 175 on race gas .35-.55, udp's .1, al ds .1-.2, weight .1, bypass the p/s .1-.2, and if I can get some skinnies .1. So worst case (150 pump) .50 putting me around 11.34@118-119. Best case (175 race+skinnies) 1.15 putting me around 10.69@124-125. And I know it's gonna be a long shot on the best case, but I'll be trying the 150 first just to be on the safe side. Either way I guess it'll still be pretty quick.

Good luck man. I pushed my car as far as I wanted to go before pulling the nitrous. 175 shot is a big shot.

What shot were you running on yours? Did you have gears? 11.4's are quick.

I ran a 100 shot on mine. Stock torque converter and that pass was with 17" stocks on MH DR's. I run 4.10's

Well I was wondering because I cut a 1.57 60ft but ran 4/10ths slower.
