First off, if this is the wrong section, I apologize. Moderators, please feel free to move this.

In an attempt to clean my car, some undiluted simple green, or possibly armor-all (i know, i know) splattered onto the mid section of my gauges (fuel, temp, oil ,volt) anyhow, the mystery spray wasnt noticed. it dried and now does not come off. To be honest the plastic feels as if its been etched.

My main question, is can the clear plastic part of the cluster be replaced? Id imagine this is possible due to the fact it is so easily damaged.

If not, does anyone have any suggestions that may be able to reduce these marks? some sort of plastic restorer?

Thanks for the help in advance.

from my experience the gauge cluster is a one piece unit and sealed. I don't see the fascia as replaceable from store bought pieces.

I would guess if you removed the cluster a headlight restoration kit may get the blemishes off.
