....and this is what makes me nervous to go TOO loud.

Hey, if your all about loud more power too ya. I used to love my cars extremely loud and attracting attention, but over the years I've learned that you not only piss people off with it, but 95% of people don't even think it sounds good and that its just obnoxious.
I can't remember how many times some guy with SLP loudmouths or some young punk in a Civic with the pipes cut off goes by me and I just think to myself how stupid it sounds.
There is a fine line from where it sounds great and it gets to obnoxious to the point where nobody appreciates it. I rather have an individual pull up to me and say man that car sounds amazing, nice ride.....instead of being like your an asshole, you've got to be kidding me.

The Corsas sound great until you remove the cats, once those are gone, it loses its tone and its just loud!

I'm half tempted to remove my bassanis here soon, as they are starting to sound like farting through a trumpet with the headers.

Yeah that will happen. My Corsas on my 4.6L sounded that way once I put headers on.

I plan on triming the mid-pipes for better fitment and bolting on the GT500s tonight for a sound test. Who knows, maybe I won't like those either. If thats the case I'll say fuck it and throw the Corsas back on and learn to like it, haha. We will see.

IMO, most of the guys in new 5.0s have their cars WAY too loud. To each their own I guess, but the Coyote itself doesn't sound good, so all you're doing is adding megaphones to something that sounds terrible. Not my deal.

But, I have been looking at the Gibson mufflers. Has anyone here run these on a 5.0? I'm interested to know if these sound good in person. I like them in videos.

The Gibson are very similar to the flows from what I know, they sound fairly reserved from that video. Similar to a set of SVT mufflers with the stock mid-pipe and resonators still installed.

+1...

I need to hear this.

I will have a sound clip up soon. I'm too tired to walk back out there and shoot another sound clip. :thumb2:

We had to modify the OTA pipes tonight to get the fitment perfect again.... I'm guessing the Lethal OR Midpipe is longer than the stock....you can see how much we had to trim off in these photos...

*Also, if you look at the first picture with the actual X-pipe you can see where the pipes cross and exit how hot they they are getting. The are blue in color.....a restriction or overkill fuel is my guess to whats causing it. No other part of the X is burned blue like that....

then call me lol.

I will send a sound clip tomorrow, haha. I'm gonna take a shower and lay down. I have to be up at 5am for work. Time to relax and sleep. Hopefully the old lady doesn't wake me up when she gets home.....:chainsaw:

*I WILL HAVE THE CORSA EXTREME'S UP IN THE CLASSIFIEDS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED....I HAVE ALREADY HAD A FEW PMs REGARDING THEM. PRICE WILL BE $500.00 PLUS THE RIDE. SO YOU'LL BE GETTING A BASICALLY NEW SET OF $700.00 CORSAS FOR $150.00 OFF.*

**Thank you Brenspeed for the quick shipping on the Ring and Pinion. Package arrived on Monday as promised and in flawless shape.**

CAI is a C&L, plan on grabbing a new air filter for it here soon, along with a "non-cammed" tune revision from Ken B and Jon over at Lund Racing. Car has been running very strong with their tune and the stock airbox.

Did some data logging tonight, sending the information to Ken and Jon @ Lund Racing for some fine tuning.

Magnetic Blackout Panel and Steeda Shifter Bracket came in.... Unfortunately the magnetic panel was slightly defected so I'm waiting on a new one to arrive, but I was able to install the bracket.

It comes with two bushings that you can use:

Red - low durometer, Black - high durometer

Stock shifter bracket... Notice the zip ties?
