Tampered with the Plasti-Dip and the blackout setup for the tail....

I plan on letting it sit overnight to dry and inspecting it tomorrow after work. I prefer the black out panel look for sure.

I'm guessing the Boss's have vinyl blackout panels similar to there lettering. I may look into a magnetic setup. Just to keep from having to recoat the Plasti dip from time to time and eliminate the imperfections.

Installed the Roushs on the GT500, they sound awesome. I will get a sound clip posted soon.

Also ordered some Barton Shifter components for the 5.0, and removed the Plasti-dip from the decklid. Plan on order some matte black trim bezels for the tails along with the magnetic blackout panel.

Seems alot of friends and 5.0 owners switched to the Barton shifter over the weekend. Would you prefer this one over the Hurst?

Same here, goes well with the stock chrome trim and looks like it belongs.

I have not ran a hurst shifter with these 5.0 (MT-82) setups so I can't compare. I did have a Hurst Comp Shifter in the 08 Bullitt (TR-3650) and I enjoyed it over stock.

*The setup I installed was the Barton Shifter Extender and Knob. My factory shifter is still in place. I'm still fighting warranty issues at the moment with ford so this is the most I could do. Although i can say that having the extra length and leverage in throw makes the shifts feel much smoother.

Yes I did say that.... But that was before Ford basically told me fuck off on my warranty.... So let the fun begin.

Also, 4.10s will be installed with new pinion bearing in the next couple weeks as well.
