BMR rear suspension components arrived early in the week along with the Matte black 5.0 badges, the LED switchbacks and fog bulbs should be here this week sometime as well.

While continuing on with the massive winter detail on the car, I decided to go ahead and add the matte black 5.0 emblems I picked up from American Muscle. Install is very simple, except for the 3M residue, which can be a little bit of a pain in the ass to remove. Had to take a small break and go grab some 3M Adhesive Remover for the passenger side. Overall everything turned out good.

Yeah, they are a nice setup. The turns are exactly what I wanted. The fogs have a nice color to them but not the intensity that I wanted. May swap to HIDs. Overall quality wise though they are great.

Info on the LEDs:

From Ed @ SD Accessories

Turns: Type II Switchbacks (requires splicing)
Fogs: H11 LED (Direct replacement)

Ordered some H11 HIDs tonight, plan on tackling the BMR Suspension over this holiday weekend if I can find the time. Will have pics of everything.

Found a good pic from fall as well...

The HID's are the best way to utilize these fogs. I installed 6k temp. A few folks have modded them as well on hidplanet, by modding the shields to get a better spread of light. You can also adjust the aim as well. They are refered to "Fusion" Fogs.

I ordered a 6,000K Slim ballast kit as well. I'll have to look into the stuff you mentioned above.

Updated total.... Now $7,209.32

LOL you made me go and try and total up everything I've spend on my car now Scott! Holy shit...

Lol yeah. Mines actually less than I thought. But I like to to keep a running total, my cars are always for sale for the right price.

My Bullitt had over $30,000 invested into it, so I'm not doing to bad with this one.

Plus it gives people an idea of what it costs to do a similar style.

That's a good way of thinking about it!

Probably a dumb question, but the H11 HID's for the fogs.. are those a direct replacement?

Thanks, I try to put a unique twist on the look to make it different. Copied from the boss grille surrounding that comes painted.

The LEDs were of great quality just not the intensity I wanted.

For the most part. Just runs through a ballast to amp up the light output. I recommend spending the extra cash on a slim ballast.
