Your car is gorgeous! I'm more partial to the OEM tail lights on your car. I think it looked better.

Either way you car is cleeaan!!!!!!

Agreed on oem tails

I think the new one would be fine if they didn't have that diamond like design

Yeah the diamond like shape is a little different, but when your directly behind the car it's not really noticeable.

I plan on adding the Aeroforce Gauge sometime this week.

Amazing transformation from when you bought it. Nicely done.

Thanks, it's far from done. Just making slow progress because I have many other projects going on.

I plan on adding a built stroker longblock, T-56, and turbo or Procharger setup. I want it to be a consistent 9 second street car.

Grabbed a set of Michelin Super Sports from Neema. I will hopefully get those mounted and balanced on the GT500 within the next month so.

Installed HID fog kit on the 5.0, along with the Aeroforce Guage and Roush Vent Pod....

I throw up some pics shortly.

I dig the car cover. IIRC, those Michelin's you just bought off Neema were the ones I sold him originally.. Glad to see they are making their way around, haha

I've been keeping an eye on your build - looks great! I have my own Race Red build going as well.

Can you please share what HID kit you used for the foglights? (got a link?) Was it all plug-n-play or was there some splicing involved? How does it install? How do you like it and how bright is it on the road?

Oh, and I keep track of dollars spent too. I have a big spreadsheet with everything. Sometimes I don't like looking at it - especially after big purchases. Oh well.

I've been watching yours as well.... Believe you have invested a little more though lol. Current running total on mine is $7,960.07

The HID kit that was used for the Fogs is from HIDNation.com, they have the best prices I've found and I've never had any issues with their product. The kit I used is a H11 (6000K), Slim Ballast kit, it's plug and play, no splicing required. With shipping the kit will set you back around $70.00-$80.00 with the lifetime warranty.

I can't comment with how bright tbey are just yet. The car hasn't left the garage since install. Good ole winter and lots of snow here. But I can post updates once the car finally comes out of hibernation.

I'm showing the running total to show guys who are interested in the look how much it will set them back. I haven't even began to start adding the big stuff yet. Built motor, Trans, Forced induction, etc.... That's when the total will sky rocket.

Cover is made by Cover King, I highly recommend them. They make a great product. We have one for the GT500 as well.

Thanks. I've been looking at HID kits recently, and I want one that I don't have to cut wires. I'm trying to ensure I can return my car to (near) stock without too much difficulty in the event that I sell it.

I'm not too far ahead of you really in terms of spending. I bought the car used for $36k private party, and I have another $10,568.68 in it, which is net of a few things that I've sold like the stock grille, side scoops and quarter window louvers. Aside from the brakes, the wheels, and now my new seats, it's been all small purchases for the most part. I have a few more parts coming for it this week. I'm running out of "small stuff" to do, which brings me ever closer to buying a blower.

Paul.
